Lead Analytics Engineer (m/f/d)
As the strategic architect of our company-wide Single Source of Truth (SSOT), you will take end-to-end ownership of FTAPI’s Modern Data Stack and help shape the future of secure, data-driven decision-making.
In this role, you will transform complex raw data into scalable, high-performance “Golden Tables,” bridge the gap between Finance, RevOps, and Product teams, and prepare our data infrastructure for future AI and GenAI use cases.
Your Responsibilities

Infrastructure Ownership: Take full ownership of the Modern Data Stack — from data integration pipelines to the semantic layer, primarily within Snowflake.

Single Source of Truth (SSOT): Design and develop cross-functional “Golden Tables” with the goal of achieving zero metric drift across all stakeholders.

Vendor Management & Technical Leadership: Coordinate and guide external Data Engineers by creating precise technical specifications and ensuring code quality through thorough code reviews.

Data Democratization: Enable decentralized “Data Champions” across business departments to independently build dashboards and perform self-service analytics using tools such as Metabase.

AI Readiness: Enhance central data models with semantic metadata to ensure future-proof, structured usage for LLMs and AI-powered applications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Data Scientists to establish a reliable data foundation for machine learning models and data-driven product features.
Your Profile

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or modern Business Intelligence environments.

2–3 years of hands-on experience working with the Modern Data Stack, particularly Snowflake.

Proven experience leading architecture or data projects from a functional perspective and managing external vendors or service providers.

Strong ability to translate complex business requirements and ambiguous problems into scalable, standardized data models.

Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including:
- Git version control
- CI/CD pipelines
- Automated testing
- Code quality standards

Fluent English communication skills.

German language skills and certifications such as SnowPro Core are considered a plus.
