About the Role

Celonis is looking for a Working Student to support the prototyping of applied AI pilot projects within the Brand Team.

These initiatives are part of a broader AI strategy centered around three key objectives:

• Governance — ensuring AI systems operate within brand and legal guidelines
• Enablement — accelerating creative and GTM workflows while maintaining quality
• Visibility — ensuring Celonis appears consistently and accurately in AI-powered environments such as:
  • Generative search engines
  • AI assistants
  • Conversational interfaces

In this role, you will help prototype the technical foundations of AI-driven systems, including conversational workflows, retrieval systems, integrations, and intelligent automation tools.

What You’ll Do

• Support the development of AI avatars and conversational AI experiences
• Experiment with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using proprietary company knowledge
• Assist with voice and avatar platform integrations
• Support web embedding and API integrations for AI systems
• Help build data pipelines for the Brand Intelligence Dashboard
• Test and improve AI outputs by refining:
  • Prompts
  • Retrieval quality
  • Workflow design
• Contribute to technical documentation and collaboration with research partners
• Support AI-enabled brand operations infrastructure

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in:
  • Computer Science
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Data Science
  • Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)
  • Or a related field
• Strong interest in:
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Conversational AI
  • Applied AI workflows
  • RAG systems
  • Vector databases
• Experience with:
  • Python
  • JavaScript
• Comfortable working with:
  • APIs
  • AI tools and platforms
• Strong curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving mindset
• Based in Munich and available to work on-site at the headquarters
• Available to work 16–20 hours per week
