Analytics Engineer

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our marketing, product development, and monetization efforts through data-driven insights.

As a key member of our data analytics team, you will leverage your expertise to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets, uncovering actionable insights that drive growth and operational efficiency across the company.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven experience in analytics engineering roles, preferably within the B2C app or mobile gaming industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, and related technologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase, Looker, or Tableau, with a strong track record of building intuitive dashboards and reports.
• Experience working with data transformation tools such as dbt or Dataform, as well as version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, derive meaningful insights, and communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience troubleshooting technical issues.
• Familiarity with mobile analytics platforms such as Adjust and Firebase.
• Passion for and understanding of the mobile app and mobile gaming industry, including market trends and player behavior.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and experiment evaluation.
• Understanding of user attribution methodologies across different platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets related to marketing, in-app events, product performance, and monetization metrics to uncover actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across marketing, product management, finance, and data engineering teams to align objectives and drive data-informed initiatives.
• Design and maintain scalable data models that support analytics and reporting needs, following dimensional modeling principles.
• Conduct cohort analysis and user segmentation to optimize user acquisition, product development, and monetization strategies.
• Participate in external machine learning collaborations to enhance analytical capabilities and contribute to innovative data-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key business and product performance metrics.
