Backend Engineer – Customer Risk Lifecycle

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our growing teams in Barcelona. You will work on a modern microservice architecture, primarily using Java 8, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.

Our cross-functional teams value collaboration, knowledge sharing, and autonomy. You will have the opportunity to work on complex, meaningful challenges while staying at the forefront of technology.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software systems
• Manage project priorities and deliverables in a collaborative team environment
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and share insights with the team
• Contribute to technical discussions and uphold high engineering standards
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features

Your Profile

Background

• Experience developing software using JVM languages and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems
• Experience with Kotlin is a plus
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)

Skills

• Deep understanding of microservice architectures
• Experience working with modern cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Strong database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL)
• Full professional proficiency in English
