Platform Operations Manager

Role Overview

The Platform Operations Manager owns LiveOps and CRM end-to-end across the JustPlay ecosystem.
This role is responsible for translating product plans and business goals into high-quality, measurable execution
that drives revenue, LTV, retention, and engagement.

You will oversee how events and player communications are planned, executed, measured, and improved.
This includes full ownership of LiveOps and CRM calendars, operational standards, tooling effectiveness, and performance outcomes.

  • Own LiveOps and CRM execution across the platform
  • Ensure the right message reaches the right user at the right time
  • Drive measurable business impact through operational excellence
  • Continuously improve systems, processes, and execution quality

Key Responsibilities

LiveOps Ownership

  • Own the in-app LiveOps calendar across games and platform
  • Plan and execute events aligned with product and engineering rollouts
  • Ensure operational readiness (configuration, timing, targeting, QA)
  • Define and enforce execution rules for events and communications
  • Monitor performance and contribute to OKRs (revenue, LTV, retention, engagement)

CRM Ownership

  • Own CRM systems across push, in-app messaging, and email
  • Execute CRM strategy with Product (lifecycle, launches, LiveOps)
  • Manage CRM calendar governance and prioritization
  • Ensure high-quality, consistent execution across channels
  • Track performance and optimize for ROI
  • Balance lifecycle, LiveOps, and ad hoc communications

People Management

  • Lead and develop a team covering LiveOps and CRM operations
  • Set clear expectations and enforce execution standards
  • Foster ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Lead by example with hands-on involvement

Tooling, Automation & Measurement

  • Operate tools such as Firebase, Cloud Messaging, Iterable, and experimentation platforms
  • Improve processes through automation and operational discipline
  • Drive tooling and workflow improvements with Product & Engineering
  • Analyze performance data independently and derive insights

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the operational partner for Product, Engineering, Games, and Business teams
  • Translate business goals into execution plans
  • Ensure transparency across stakeholders on plans and communications

Requirements

  • Experience in LiveOps, CRM, or operations within gaming, mobile apps, or entertainment
  • Strong execution mindset with attention to detail
  • People management experience with hands-on involvement
  • Understanding of metrics (revenue, LTV, retention, engagement)
  • Data-driven decision-making skills
  • Strong collaboration across product, engineering, and business teams
