Design, build and evolve our landscape of internal tools, services and platforms that enable all departments across the company to work more efficiently, safely and autonomously.
Automate and operate the underlying infrastructure and Linux-based systems (virtualization, cloud, internal services) that serve as the reliable foundation for our custom-built and provided tools.
Provide, administer and extend core collaboration and business platforms (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack) with a focus on cross-departmental workflows, custom integrations and self-service capabilities.
Develop and maintain custom internal applications and technical integrations (e.g. automated asset and inventory management, Jira Assets connectivity, label printing solutions, device/hardware management, load balancers and routing for internal services).
Bridge the gap between software and operations by identifying manual bottlenecks, designing end-to-end automations and creating technical guardrails that simplify daily work.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders from various business units, share technical knowledge within the team and support the growth of less-experienced colleagues in Platform & Enablement Engineering.
WHO YOU ARE
Several years of experience in system integration, internal tools, automation or a similar role combining software development with system administration.
Strong coding skills with clean, maintainable code in Node.js/TypeScript and/or Python; experience with PHP or other languages is a plus.
Solid Linux expertise (ideally Debian/Ubuntu), including hosting, debugging, networking basics and performance monitoring.
Hands-on experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Ansible), containers and virtualization (Docker, VMware ESXi, AWS).
Deep administrative and integration experience with tools such as Jira (including JSM and Assets), Confluence and modern monitoring/logging stacks (e.g. Zabbix, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/Graylog).
An enablement mindset with a passion for simplifying workflows and building solutions that are easy to adopt and maintain.
Proactive and collaborative, with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly in both German and English.
