The Difference You Make

This is a hybrid role located in the Coconut Grove area of Miami

The Associate, DevOps Engineer is responsible for project delivery, daily systems stability, and technical strategic planning. The incumbent consults with both internal and external stakeholders to build a roadmap for the LOB technology portfolio that aligns with the enterprise direction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the delivery of business-requested projects requiring integration of multiple technologies.
  • Maintain network operating environment by supporting lifecycle projects while ensuring compliance with configuration standards.
  • Support platform provisioning necessary to deliver capabilities defined in the network services service catalog.
  • Contribute to improving processes, procedures, and protocols to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain the Network Services service catalog.
  • Act as an escalation point with the assigned Project Manager for deployment issues.
  • Coordinate and assign resources for implementation projects, ensuring balanced resource utilization across the team.
  • Partner with internal business units including Cybersecurity, Technology Architecture, and Service Operations & Support, as well as third-party vendors.
  • Maintain network solutions compliant with Cybersecurity Policy and applicable industry regulations.
  • Support evolution of the network services operating environment through automation and new technology adoption.

What You Bring

To perform this job successfully, the individual must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven track record managing large, complex software development/integration projects in both host and distributed environments.
  • Basic knowledge of external competition, industry, and market trends in relation to own business.
  • Understanding of IT Service Management concepts and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the latest technology innovations and their applicability to business operations.
  • Strong relationship management and leadership skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all management levels.
  • Proactive team player with effective time management skills; able to work independently, manage multiple deadlines/projects, and keep key players informed.
  • Quality management and metrics knowledge.
  • Strong program, project management, and leadership skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • IT effectiveness knowledge: application sourcing, technology strategy, and planning.
  • Strong reporting, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly flexible, adaptable, and able to quickly respond to changing priorities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, customer-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

It Would Be Nice For You To Have

  • Python and Snowflake experience.
  • Established work history or equivalent through experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.

What Else You Need To Know

The base pay range for this position represents the annualized salary. For hourly (non-exempt) positions, the range is based on a 40-hour work week. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and location.
