Senior Data Scientist

About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will join a team of highly committed analysts, data engineers, and developers
to form our growing Data Science team.

At justtrack, we build a SaaS platform that enables app and game publishers to manage their entire
global marketing growth process.
From managing, analyzing, and automating marketing workflows to delivering deep mobile product insights,
justtrack empowers publishers to scale efficiently.

You will work closely with business stakeholders and have access to state-of-the-art technology
to explore new algorithms and ideas that unlock the value of our data assets.
Our mission is to effortlessly gather, aggregate, and instantly provide in-app event and marketing data
to developers and marketers.
Your exploratory data analysis will help transform recurring analyses into meaningful metrics and alerts.

How the Optimal Candidate Looks Like

• 5+ years of experience applying Data Science, Machine Learning, and time series analysis in real-world projects with measurable business impact
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Expert knowledge of Python and SQL and experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn
• Strong familiarity with the AWS technology stack
• An entrepreneurial, hacker mindset — complex problems motivate you to dig deeper
• Ability to switch easily between move-fast and no-margin-for-error modes
• Comfortable diving deep into mathematical concepts and explaining complex topics in a clear, simple way

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the development of our data science tech stack by identifying innovative opportunities and steering implementation with our development team
• Work hand in hand with developers to transform recurring analyses into metrics, dashboards, business messages, and scalable data pipelines
• Develop machine learning models to notify users about detected trends and statistical outliers in real time
• Extract knowledge and actionable insights from noisy, structured, and unstructured data
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify correlations and trends
• Analyze and combine data from multiple sources including Redshift, Spark, SQL, Athena, S3, Druid event streams, and AWS data pipelines
