About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our fast-paced and expanding eCommerce team. This role is a unique opportunity to shape a new business line and work at the intersection of performance marketing and business development in the rapidly growing ecommerce space.

In this client-facing role, you will:

  • Partner with eCommerce brands to unlock growth using AppLovin’s marketing platform
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Help brands optimize campaigns and lead strategic initiatives that drive business outcomes
  • Work closely with AppLovin leadership and product experts to evolve the eCommerce advertising solution and drive market adoption

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboard eCommerce brands and educate them on AppLovin’s growth solution
  • Understand partner priorities and develop action plans for growth
  • Set up campaigns leveraging best practices for creative and performance targets
  • Define and analyze metrics to ensure partner success
  • Become an expert in AppLovin’s mobile advertising products for eCommerce
  • Collaborate with the broader Business Development team in the region

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
  • Self-starter with eagerness to learn
  • Outstanding analytical ability and strategic grasp of the “big picture”
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience prioritizing competing demands
  • Flexible team-player who drives initiatives forward with creativity and initiative
  • Experience handling large data sets and identifying actionable patterns for strategic decision-making
  • Proven interest in technology and high data-driven environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the e-commerce space and brand operations
  • Basic understanding of programming or scripting
  • Basic knowledge of image and video editing software
  • Understanding of intelligent decision-making models (e.g., game theory, chess, poker)

CA Base Pay Range

$81,900 – $152,100 USD
