About the Role

As a Business Manager Operations, you will play a central role in steering the entire project lifecycle — from contracting to invoicing — ensuring smooth and compliant execution across all operational processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including contracting, calculations, staffing, project management, controlling, invoicing, and project setup in SAP S/4HANA.
• Set up and administer customer and internal projects, including commercial frameworks (milestones, billing plans, pricing, etc.).
• Handle capacity planning, resource requests, and staffing of internal/external resources with efficiency and compliance.
• Oversee resource requisition, activity tracking, and workforce budgeting.
• Perform calculations, utilization reporting, deviation analysis, and project P&L tracking.
• Execute regular monthly closing activities, including invoicing, deferred bookings, and revenue review.
• Manage customer payment processes.
• Align closely with Profit Centre Leads, Finance, Controlling, and Business Operations stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular project reviews to ensure alignment on goals, risks, and financial performance.
• Proactively manage project risks, identify efficiency opportunities, and propose actionable improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration with excellent grades.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in controlling, project controlling, or business operations.
• Strong analytical thinker with excellent numerical and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to transform complex data into practical, actionable insights.
• Adaptable, dynamic, proactive approach to complex tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Motivated by challenges and eager to contribute to growth.
• Strong team player who collaborates effectively across business areas.
• Strong communication skills in English; German fluency is an asset.
• Hands-on mentality for creating, managing, and improving operational processes.
