Your Mission

We are looking for a motivated Quant Developer – Algorithmic Power Trading (f/m/d) to support the green revolution of the electricity market as a digital and smart electricity provider.

As a key member of our Finance team, you will take full ownership of our trading platform and intraday algorithms.

Your Tasks

• Enhance and expand our trading platform, including new market integrations, third-party client trading capabilities, and scalable trading infrastructure.
• Advance our algorithmic trading models by integrating PV generation and home battery data for smarter dispatch decisions.
• Design and implement a robust back-testing framework to evaluate and optimize intraday trading strategies.
• Build comprehensive monitoring and risk management systems, including automated alerts, risk limits, and default protocols.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field and 2+ years experience in a quant role; PhD is a plus.
• Strong foundation in applied mathematics, numerical computing, and optimization.
• Proven ability to write production-grade Python (Git, automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews).
• Expertise in asynchronous, concurrent, and parallel computing and low-latency, event-driven systems.
• Strong understanding of market microstructure and trading system risk management.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2–C1).

Nice to Have

• Experience in algorithmic or intraday trading, ideally in power or energy markets.
• Background in forecasting, backtesting, or ML for trading.
• German language skills.
• Previous start-up experience.
