Job Description

The Project Engineer I supports the Project Manager and project team in executing activities to ensure construction work aligns with project objectives and construction document requirements. Key responsibilities include bidding support, submittal and RFI review, document control, as-built verification, quality control support, site safety, equipment receiving, closeout documentation, and cost management support.

Responsibilities

• Support construction of assigned project(s) and ensure work meets project objectives and construction documents
• Bidding support and document control
• Execute submittal and RFI review process
• Verify as-builts and support quality control and site safety
• Execute equipment receiving process
• Manage project closeout documentation
• Support cost management activities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Science, or Engineering
• Up to four years of relevant experience

Additional Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to learn new project management and reporting software
• Experience with mobile devices and VDC apps is a plus
