Your Tasks – What Awaits You

• Develop scalable and robust backend solutions for our Kaufland Marketplaces and internal services in a collaborative environment.
• Take full ownership of feature development—from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and monitoring in production.
• Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code following best practices.
• Work with your experienced team to tackle complex challenges and continuously improve existing processes and procedures.

Your Profile – What We Expect

• University degree in (business) information technology, (business) engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience building PHP backends in mid- to large-scale software projects.
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, messaging brokers, and familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
• Strong motivation to continuously develop yourself and your team.
• Passion for e-commerce and current technology trends.
• Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working in an international, English-speaking team.
