As we prepare for our next fundraising rounds, we are seeking a highly driven and strategic finance leader to join us as Finance & Growth Lead in our Berlin office.

Role Overview

As the Finance & Growth Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and driving fundraising efforts. You will collaborate directly with the Founder and executive team to oversee financial planning, investor relations, and capital management. This is a rare opportunity to lead the financial growth of an AI-powered MedTech startup as we scale toward Series A and beyond.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented professional with 3–5 years of experience in venture financing, strategic finance, or startup financial operations. Experience in MedTech, SaaS, or AI-driven healthcare solutions is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Support fundraising efforts, including accounting, financial modeling, investor presentations, and capital strategy.
• Manage financial planning and analysis (budgeting, forecasting, cash flow optimization).
• Oversee financial operations, ensuring proper controls, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on strategic financial decision-making.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, VCs, and financial institutions.
• Optimize equity and cap table management to ensure effective capital allocation.
• Provide data-driven insights to inform strategy, pricing models, and market expansion.
• Manage financial risk assessment, tax optimization, and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, strategic finance, or startup financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, bookkeeping, and accounting best practices.
• Experience with GAAP/IFRS compliance, tax strategies, and financial audits (preferred).
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of startup financing, investor relations, and capital structuring.
• Experience in financial modeling, fundraising, and equity management.
• Proven ability to create financial strategies that drive growth and operational efficiency.
• Highly analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software, Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
• Experience in MedTech or SaaS is a plus.
