What We’re Looking For
AUTODOC is experiencing 20% year-over-year growth, powered by our Supply Chain team. As the most crucial function in the organization, it is essential to deepen our understanding of the supply chain’s financial performance. We already run weekly and monthly controlling processes, yet we believe there is significant opportunity to strengthen our models and gain a clearer understanding of warehouse-level operations.
To support this mission, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Controlling, who will act as a strategic partner to the supply chain and financial controlling teams. Working closely with the VP Supply Chain, you will bridge the gap between operations and finance. You will inherit an existing financial controlling landscape and drive improvements to implement stronger, data-driven decision-making. Your leadership will be key to enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring financial discipline, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with supply chain and finance teams to ensure accurate financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting across warehousing, 3PL, transportation, infrastructure, and related costs.
- Develop and maintain financial models, variance analyses, and factor analysis to support business decisions.
- Conduct cost control and labor planning for the entire supply chain network.
- Monitor and analyze operational KPIs (cost per shipment, inventory holding costs, delivery timelines, warehouse utilization) ensuring alignment with financial targets.
- Lead the creation of performance dashboards and ensure timely reporting of financial metrics.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service levels.
- Serve as the primary operational finance partner for the supply chain team, ensuring alignment with finance department objectives.
- Work with finance teams to create integration between operational data and financial statements.
- Support audits, compliance checks, and reporting requirements for supply chain expenditures and contracts.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance financial oversight.
- Oversee system integrations for data collection, ensuring accuracy and automation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7–9 years of experience in supply chain finance, logistics operations finance, or similar roles in high-volume supply chain environments.
- Expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and operational cost control.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Strong communication skills to contextualize figures and provide actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including factor analysis and bridge creation.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes (inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, 3PL models).
Perks at Work
- Competitive salaries based on professional experience.
- Fast-growing international company with stable employment.
- Annual vacation plus 1 additional day off for your birthday.
- Mental Wellbeing Program – free psychological counseling for you and your family (24/7 hotline and online sessions).
- Opportunities for advancement and extensive training (over 650 courses on soft and hard skills).
- Free English and German language classes.
- Referral Program with attractive incentives.
- Flexible working hours and hybrid work model.
