Senior Product Manager

Join Distribusion – Redefining the Future of Ground Transportation

Distribusion is the world’s leading ground transportation marketplace, giving travelers seamless access to buses, trains, and ferries online — from search to ticket purchase.

We’ve built a cutting-edge B2B technology platform that connects transport operators in 70+ countries with top online retailers such as Google Maps and Booking.com.

We’re shaping the future of travel by building the largest global network of transport providers and retailers. As one of the fastest-growing startups in travel — backed by TQ Ventures, Lightrock, Creandum, and Northzone — and following our recent $80M Series C funding, we’re ready to push beyond.

Role: Senior Product Manager – Platform

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Platform team. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our core platform and product offerings, focusing on everything that happens before a booking is made.

Your mission: ensure that our partners have access to best-in-class products while driving the performance, speed, and reliability of our platform — especially in search API and booking management areas.

As a Product Manager, you’ll work on the key elements of the platform that drive carrier efficiency and revenue.

What You Will Do

  • Develop clear solutions for carriers and retailers that align with our mission and ensure long-term platform success.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with company goals, enhancing the pre-booking experience and optimizing search performance.
  • Define and prioritize feature proposals that optimize the user journey — from date selection to filtering results — ensuring users find the “just right” trip.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, UX/UI, and other stakeholders for seamless feature delivery from ideation to release.
  • Prepare detailed use cases and align with teams on technical solutions to achieve key objectives on time.
  • Take full ownership of feature delivery — from concept to specification — ensuring final outcomes exceed business and user expectations.
  • Monitor platform performance and propose continuous improvements to meet business and user goals.

Workplace

  • This role is preferably based in Germany, ideally at our HQ in Berlin.
  • We are a remote-first company with a global team and regular in-office collaboration in Berlin.

Who You Are

  • Experienced Product Manager with a background in information feeding systems, high-load systems, and B2B product management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Cybernetics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of both Engineering and UX domains — confident navigating the intersection of both.
  • API proficiency: comfortable with JSON, SQL, Postman, and reading logs when necessary.
  • User-driven mindset: able to translate data, user behavior, and metrics into clear business value and product requirements.
  • Strong communication skills: excellent at stakeholder management, negotiating priorities, and collaborating with Engineering to launch new features.
  • Solution-focused and improvement-driven: constantly looking for ways to improve team processes, product quality, and performance.
  • Agile proficiency: experienced with Scrum, iterative development, and prioritization in dynamic environments.

What You Can Expect

  • Join a fast-paced travel tech company in a rapidly growing industry.
  • Take ownership and responsibility from day one, directly impacting company success.
  • Work with a modern tech stack and cutting-edge tools to ensure efficiency for engineers, partners, and carriers.
  • Collaborate with global industry leaders — our partners include Booking.com, Google Maps, Amtrak, Deutsche Bahn, Renfe, and SNCF.
  • Management-level impact: Shape company strategy and organization beyond your direct area of responsibility.
  • Be part of an international, driven team with a clear mission — where colleagues inspire, support, and challenge you daily.
  • Enjoy flexible and remote work, relocation opportunities, and strong career growth potential.
