Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Founding Salesperson to help expand our product-led growth B2B motion into a product-led sales motion. You’ll build the sales process from the ground up and act as the first dedicated salesperson — transitioning Softr from founder-led sales to a scalable growth model.

This role reports directly to Softr’s CEO, Mariam Hakobyan, and collaborates cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Ops teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and define the sales process: Build the sales process from scratch and take full ownership of the entire sales cycle — from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Prospect and qualify leads: Identify and build relationships with potential customers through inbound and outbound efforts, managing a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Expand customer accounts: Help customers identify new use cases to increase Softr adoption and drive revenue growth across SMB and enterprise segments.
  • Set up systems and processes: Establish or enhance foundational sales systems and data tracking for a scalable operation.
  • Collaborate with the founder: Work closely with leadership to refine messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies based on customer insights.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Resilience & grit: Thrive in ambiguity, stay motivated, and push forward without the structure of a large sales team.
  • Go-getter mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to create structure and process in a fast-moving environment.
  • Adaptable and experimental: Open to testing new strategies and iterating quickly as we discover what works best.
  • Proactive & self-starting: Comfortable taking initiative, managing priorities, and delivering results independently.
  • Strong selling skills: 3–5+ years of proven experience in B2B SaaS sales with a strong track record of hitting targets. Experience in no-code or automation tools is a big plus.
  • Results-driven: Consistently meet or exceed quotas and demonstrate measurable business impact.
  • Excellent communicator: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-obsessed: Passion for understanding customer needs and building long-term, trust-based relationships.
  • Technically fluent: Comfortable using no-code and automation tools (bonus points if you’ve already built in Softr — show us what you made!).
