IT Operations Administrator (f/m/d)

Location: Munich, Germany

To support our growing IT Team, we are looking for an experienced IT Operations Administrator (f/m/d) to join our Munich office. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, and security of our IT infrastructure and systems across multiple locations.

What You Will Do

• Administration of IT systems and networks — ensure stable, secure, and efficient system operations.
• Uninterrupted provision of IT systems — maintain high availability and reliability of internal platforms and tools.
• Optimization of our Microsoft Exchange Platform — monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance performance.
• Cross-location system administration — manage servers and network infrastructure across multiple offices.
• Collaboration with the IT Security Team — ensure compliance with company-wide security standards and initiatives.
• Implementation of IT infrastructure projects — plan and execute improvements to support scalability and efficiency.

• Optimization of our Microsoft Exchange platform – monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance performance.

• Close cooperation with our IT Security Team – ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Implementation of IT infrastructure projects – plan and execute initiatives to improve scalability and performance.

Who You Are

• Relevant professional experience in server and network administration (Windows, Linux) with solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and routing protocols.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Exchange environments, including on-premise and cloud setups.
• Good knowledge of Google Gmail and Google Cloud environments.
• Experience managing backup infrastructures and disaster recovery scenarios using Veeam Backup.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft 365.
• Ideally 3+ years of experience in system administration or a similar technical role.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
