Your Responsibilities 🚀

• Design and implement new backend services and serverless code in Python and Rust.
• Drive transformation of our system architecture to meet business needs and scale with our goals.
• Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and planning sessions.
• Help maintain and improve the Qwello backend as part of the backend team.
• Apply experience in architecting and implementing distributed systems.
• Utilize off-premise cloud platforms (preferably AWS, but Azure or Google Cloud via IaC like Terraform also welcome).
• Work closely with partners to integrate Qwello services with theirs.
• Play a hands-on role in enhancing our services as we continue to expand.

Your Profile ✨

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with Rust is a big plus — willingness to learn it is a must.
• Basic understanding of distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, ideally AWS (Azure or Google Cloud with Terraform also great).
• “Make-it-happen” attitude and commitment to helping the team deliver on our mission.
• Ability to self-organize and manage changing priorities; comfortable with content/task switching.
• Fluency in English; German is a nice-to-have.
