The Role

We’re looking for an AI Security Lead to ensure HelloFresh remains a trusted name as we navigate the AI transformation across our global business. You’ll lead the security of our AI stack end-to-end and enable product teams to build boldly and securely.

This role will focus on mapping attack paths across AI systems and turning them into robust guardrails and launch gates, helping protect customer trust, company IP, and our brand integrity.

What You’ll Do

• Threat model and harden AI components including data pipelines, training jobs, inference APIs, agents, and RAG systems
• Mitigate risks like prompt injection, data exfiltration, model poisoning, tool abuse, and model theft
• Design and build guardrails: content safety enforcement, semantic/PII redaction, tenant isolation, and allow/deny tooling
• Operationalize security evaluations: red-team corpora, adversarial testing, regression baselines, and drift detection
• Secure RAG pipelines: sanitize documents, implement access controls, and manage cache/retrieval securely
• Govern secrets and spending across model providers, embeddings, and vector DBs with quota/anomaly detection
• Lead incident response for AI features including telemetry design, forensics, and containment
• Collaborate with Product, ML, Legal, Compliance, and Platform teams to set launch gates and secure-by-default practices
• Create internal standards, playbooks, and short courses to raise the company-wide security baseline

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years in AppSec, Cloud, or Platform Security and 2+ years in securing or building ML/LLM applications at scale
• Proficiency in Python and one of TypeScript, Go, or Java
• Experience with modern AI stacks (OpenAI, Azure AI, Vertex AI, Bedrock) and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Strong knowledge of cloud IAM, KMS/HSM, Kubernetes/container security, and CI/CD hardening
• Familiarity with AI security standards like OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, MITRE ATLAS, and secure RAG practices
• Working understanding of frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001/23894, GDPR, and the EU AI Act
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and ship secure design decisions
