About the Role: Security Program Manager

We are searching for a highly experienced Security Program Manager with deep expertise in security and compliance. This self-starter will lead and implement strategic initiatives, identify opportunities, and deliver results across multiple teams. If you’re a proactive technical program manager with a passion for security and cross-functional collaboration, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver key security programs from inception to business-as-usual, collaborating with stakeholders across teams and brands.
  • Develop realistic delivery plans based on data, technical solutions, and delivery metrics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional implementation of security improvements across engineering, product, legal, and compliance teams.
  • Engage with regional stakeholders to identify security needs and understand evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with security engineers, product owners, and risk teams to close compliance gaps and build action roadmaps.
  • Ensure clear and proactive reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders (delivery governance).
  • Identify process improvements to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks in system designs and architectural decisions.
  • Coordinate 3rd party service providers and manage deliverables.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity domains and contribute to team knowledge and productivity.
  • Influence technical architecture and strategic direction for secure services.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in technical or security program management.
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams on security/compliance programs.
  • Proven track record translating high-level strategy into actionable deliverables.
  • Experience in Agile environments (certification desirable).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-driven with the ability to lead security initiatives independently.
  • Experience influencing both internal and external stakeholders across a large organization.
  • Strong understanding of security standards, frameworks, and regulations.
  • CISA or CISSP certification is a plus.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, cybersecurity operations, and incident/threat management.
  • Experience with GenAI and security product development.
  • Understanding of risk management and security auditing practices.

  • Competitive base salary range of $135,000 – $165,000 (Connecticut and NYC-metro area).
