Spearhead the establishment and documentation of standards and procedures for quality assurance testing throughout our development cycles
Collaborate with software developers and product managers to create clear, effective test cases aligned with software requirements
Execute comprehensive manual, end-to-end (E2E), and user acceptance tests (UAT) to ensure design and business requirements are met
Engage actively in agile/scrum meetings to adapt testing strategies as projects evolve
Automate test scripts and frameworks for streamlined testing processes
Implement and monitor key metrics to assess testing effectiveness and software quality
Curate and manage a repository of test scripts, tools, and documentation to support QA efforts
🎉 What Success Looks Like
3 Months: You understand the use cases and challenges of nuvo’s products. You maintain an up-to-date test suite and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure continuous quality assurance.
6 Months: You manage the bug tracking system efficiently, define and monitor quality metrics, and adopt automation tools to enhance test coverage and reduce manual effort.
12 Months: You implement standardized QA processes tailored to nuvo’s development cycles and build comprehensive test suites covering functionality, performance, security, and usability.
🔎 What Are We Looking For?
3+ years of proven QA experience with strong understanding of software testing principles and best practices
Fundamental knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Proficiency with automated E2E testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Experience in unit testing using Jest
Skilled with Postman for backend API testing
Strong communication skills in English
Based in or near Hamburg or Berlin, or open to relocation
