Next-generation customer shopping journeys are starting and ending outside Amazon stores — through video games, virtual worlds, social media, and the metaverse. Amazon Anywhere is on a mission to build the earth’s most customer-centric shopping experience across these environments, bringing Amazon’s vast selection, pricing, and convenience to customers wherever they are inspired.

After our initial launches, we’re seeking a technically strong and highly motivated Senior Product Manager – Technical to lead our next phase of growth. You will drive high-visibility, high-impact initiatives across gaming, media, entertainment, and wearable tech. You’ll shape the future of shopping beyond traditional platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Product Leadership: Serve as the technical product expert for Amazon Anywhere. Bring deep understanding of technology, customer insights, and the competitive landscape to inform product direction.
  • Product Roadmap: Define and evolve the product vision, identify opportunities, write PRFAQs, and drive the strategy forward with a strong focus on innovation and customer impact.
  • Product Delivery: Align with partners on requirements, manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications. Ensure on-time delivery and risk mitigation.
  • Metrics-Driven Launches: Define and track KPIs, customer feedback, and market trends to inform and iterate on feature development.
  • Product Stewardship: Ensure Amazon Anywhere guardrails are maintained to protect customer experience, data, and Amazon IP.
  • Technical Collaboration: Act as a bridge between business and engineering, defining technical specifications and evaluating feasibility with development teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal Amazon teams (Advertising, AWS, Prime Video, Studios, Games, etc.) to expand the adoption of immersive e-commerce solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience driving product roadmaps and feature delivery
  • Experience participating in engineering discussions and strategy
  • Experience balancing feature tradeoffs and prioritization across stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with immersive technologies (gaming, video, metaverse, etc.)
  • Familiarity with APIs, AWS, and modern digital media infrastructure
  • Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, QuickSight)
  • Success in building and driving adoption of new tools or technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including executive presentations

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100 to $235,200 per year, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
