Who We’re Looking For
The Quality Control Department is seeking a passionate and motivated Engineer to support QE Section Management Hoshin Initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction through comprehensive vehicle quality.
Responsibilities
- Support activities that ensure vehicle and parts quality
- Develop quality standards and inspection plans; ensure proper execution
- Monitor KPIs using FMDS and TBP methodologies to identify and resolve issues
- Support new vehicle model development and OP adherence
- Assist in deploying Quality Hoshin strategies within TMMK
- Lead and support cross-departmental countermeasure activities
- Manage change points involving suppliers, manufacturing, and design
- Facilitate vehicle assurance strategies (UIN, Water Leak, Door Close, Emissions, etc.)
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Engineering background in manufacturing or mass production parts/vehicles
- Experience in process/equipment improvement, supplier focus, part approval (PPAP), and change management
- Familiarity with KPI-based management or OP milestone tracking
- Ability to independently resolve complex product or process quality problems
Added Bonus If You Have
- Experience creating strategies for training, new models, or technologies
- Led vehicle assurance strategy development (e.g., emissions, UIN)
- Led cross-departmental or cross-functional teams
- Worked through multiple new model development phases
- Experience in developing inspection process standards and quality equipment
