Director, Retention Marketing

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Director, Retention Marketing to join our global Retention Team. You’ll help drive brand growth and deepen customer engagement across 40+ markets, positioning Delivery Hero as the leading name in local delivery. Your work will directly enhance customer loyalty and maximize the return on our marketing investments.

As a strategic leader, you will design a best-in-class retention tech stack, enable global CRM teams, and ensure data-driven decision-making across our regional operations. Your ultimate goal? Increase customer retention and lifetime value across all Delivery Hero brands.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead Delivery Hero’s global Retention strategy and execute high-impact projects to increase Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
  • Identify customer base trends and opportunities, and apply CRM strategies to capture measurable ROI.
  • Drive a mix of iterative improvements and greenfield innovation in customer retention and engagement.
  • Translate the challenges of regional CRM teams into requirements for our Retention product roadmap.
  • Build scalable processes and governance frameworks across our global CRM ecosystem.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • 8+ years of professional experience in consultancy or marketing roles with a strong focus on CRM and retention.
  • Customer-centric mindset and excellent stakeholder management skills in complex, global organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to marketing strategy and execution.
  • Experience working with marketing/business KPIs and OKRs to translate strategy into actionable results.
  • Familiarity with agile environments and product/tech collaboration.
