What Will You Do

  • Design and Develop Solutions for Inverse Problems: Build robust ML pipelines for tasks like parameter estimation, model calibration, and uncertainty quantification.
  • Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs): Design and optimize neural networks incorporating physical laws and PDEs to enhance learning and generalization.
  • Research & Prototyping: Stay current with advances in inverse problems and scientific ML. Rapidly prototype and test new concepts.
  • Model Deployment & Scalability: Integrate models into scalable production systems with close collaboration from engineers and data scientists.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Work with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers in solving technical challenges.

What Is Expected of You

Education:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of numerical methods, PDEs, and high-performance computing is a big plus.

Experience & Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience applying ML/DL to scientific or quantitative problems.
  • Hands-on experience with inverse problems and PINNs, including PDE-constrained optimization.
  • Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, NumPy, and other numerical libraries.
  • Familiarity with GPU/TPU acceleration and parallel computing techniques.
  • Experience with software development practices like CI/CD, Git, and agile workflows.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communicator with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Track record of end-to-end project ownership and execution.
